Replacing Hunger with HOPE!
We're committed to making our community as hunger-free as possible. We offer a list of food pantry resources that are available at any time to those in need when you call our office at 517-768-5004. In addition,here are some ongoing services we provide:
Fresh Hope Food Boxes
On the second Thursday of each month beginning at 11:00 a.m. while supplies last. Village Hope Church in Parma is offering food boxes containing fresh produce, baked goods, and dairy products to those in need. VHC partners with the South Michigan Food Bank to offer this service free of charge, and while supplies last, at our Parma campus location (100 E. Main St., Parma).
Weekend Food Backpacks
In partnership with Northeast Elementary School in Jackson and Compassionate Ministries, VHC is providing weekend food backpacks for students experiencing food insecurity in their home. Each week Village Hope Church is assisting over 80 families through this program.
Community Food Pantry at Woodland Hills
In partnership with Compassionate Ministries and South Michigan Food Bank, VHC Offers food boxes on the 4th Saturday of each month. Beginning at 10:00 a.m. while supplies last, at the Woodland Hills Senior Apartments (1200 Ellery Ave., Jackson).
