COVID-19 Safe Operation Plan:

Village Hope Church is open for in-person worship services.  In an effort to mitigate the health risks relating specifically to the COVID-19 Coronavirus, we have taken the steps listed below in order to safely operate our ministry and hold worship services.  Please know that if you are not comfortable joining us in person, we also offer a weekly online worship service as well.  Above all we want you to feel safe and welcomed when you choose to return to one of our campuses.

  • Both campuses operate a one-hour program on Sunday morning:

    • Parma – 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

    • Jackson – 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

      • Our children's ministry is currently not operating, but children's activity kits are available

      • Nursery is available for use by parent with child but not currently staffed

    • Life Groups are holding in-person gatherings, taking necessary health precautions

    • Youth Groups are meeting in person AND through ZOOM (virtual) taking appropriate health precautions

    • GRATIS Community Store in Parma is open (subject to state health guidelines for retail establishments)

  • COVID-19 precautionary measures at our campus locations:

    • If you have experienced ANY symptoms of COVID-19 within the past 72 hours (cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, unexpected muscle pain, sore throat, loss of taste or smell) DO NOT COME TO CHURCH.  We love you, and we appreciate your commitment to VHC, but for your safety and the safety of our church family, we cannot allow you to enter the building.

    • Out of consideration for those within our church family who are at an elevated risk for COVID-19,  we strongly recommend (and prefer) that you wear a mask when you attend a worship service with us, unless there is an underlying medical reason that would prevent you from doing so.

    •  “Social Distancing” is encouraged (just use common sense when interacting with one another)

    • To avoid cross-contamination, we will not be passing offering baskets/plates

      • Please use our online giving option for regular giving

      • In-person tithes/offerings can also be placed in a container located in the worship center.

    • Café Hope remains closed for now so that we can avoid pro-longed exposure in a confined area.  Café Hope will re-open at a future date.

    • Lord’s Supper/Communion will be observed in a manner that does not require the elements to pass through the congregation
